yes of course Load up Terminal and type the following: killall iTunesHelper sudo -s rm -r /Applications/iTunes.app rm -r /Library/Receipts/iTunesX.pkg rm ~/Library/Preferences/com.apple.iTunes* rm -r /Applications/iTunes.app rm -r /Library/Receipts/iTunesX.pkg rm ~/Library/Preferences/com.apple.iTunes* rm -r /System/Library/PrivateFrameworks/MobileDevice.framework and after that you could install whatever itunes versions you like.

Hi there!!! I had my 1.1.4 firmware unlocked phone tried to upgrade to v2.0 and got it locked. The phone shows the restore mode and I wanna get back to my old 1.1.4. I tried to download the itunes 7.6 (after uninstalling the itunes 7.7 from the system) but can't open itunes as it shows an "itunes library.dl file can't be opened as the file was created in new version of itunes" ANy help as to how do I restor back to v1.1.4??

hi Alex. I assume that you already heard of the new winpwn is out for windows users, so I suggest you to upgrade to itunes version 7.7 and upgrade your phone to 2.0 to take full advantage of it. I'm using 2.0 with Cydia packaging manager and also the App Store. 2.0 is amazing.

hi i recently upgraded to 2.0 and relocked my phone, i then uninstalled my itunes and reinstalled 7.6 to downgrade my iphone to version 1.1.4 but now itunes does not pick up the phone, what next please help
